140 letters from North Brooklyn
The Patrol Borough Brooklyn North will have letters written by 95 junior high students from Brownsville. Their schools have identified the students as living below poverty level and are in great need. The Patrol works with these students throughout the school year and will help them prepare the letters so they are focused on need and to their benefit-- for example if you want to be an artist, you should request an art kit.
With this partnership, Miracle on 22nd Street can send help to those kids identified as in great need by a city government authority. This also gives us one address for everyone to send to - a command center. And the police elves will distribute the gifts at their school.
ALL of the letters have been fulfilled for this project!
But, you can still help. You can donate to the cause or request a Chelsea/Facebook family here.
