How can we help you?

General FAQ’s

See our origin story linked here.

We are still building the new workshop and anticipate to be open at the beginning of November! Keep an eye on our social media feeds or sign up for our email list here.

Nope! While we love all of our elves who practice their chosen religion, we are a non-denominational, non-partisan organization.

You can donate any amount on our website here.

The organization is run by a Board of Volunteer elves who have been involved from the beginning.

Yes. We are a registered 501 (c)(3) organization. Our EIN number is 83-0601813

The letters are written by families in need. Sometimes by the parents, and sometimes by the kids themselves.

We do our absolute best to fulfill every single letter, but unfortunately sometimes one or two slip through the cracks. That’s where having lots of volunteer elves comes in! To sign up to be an elf, please email us at workshop@miracleon22ndstreet.com

To meet shipping deadlines we close the workshop by December 15th.

Elves FAQ’s

Typically the parents will detail the needs of the family in the letter!

We have dedicated elves who will vet every letter that doesn’t come through an approved organization. If they come through an organization, their team vets the letters.

Please let us know immediately if you can no longer fulfill your letter at workshop@miracleon22ndstreet.com

Sure! Elves can choose to personalize it with unique wrapping, a note, anything that you’re comfortable with.

It’s up to you! Whatever you’re comfortable with. Many people like the spirit of anonymity, but it is also nice to know it’s from people who care.

Whatever you are able to! The asks in the letters range from $25-$325.

We recommend gift cards rather than cash or checks. However, if you would like to donate money, Miracle admin takes lots of work! We are committed to fulfilling the wishes of all of our families. When we don’t have enough elves, we fulfill the letters ourselves. If you’d like to donate directly to Miracle, you can do so here.

New this year, we have a partnership with Wrappily, makers of adorably chic wrapping paper printed on 100% recyclable and compostable newsprint. We will have more information soon about how using Wrappily to wrap your gifts can help to support Miracle on 22nd Street.

Sure! That’s great for shipping purposes.

Sometimes. We’ve found that some elves put tracking on their packages, and some don’t.

There is no limit to the number of families you can take on, but please be sure you can fulfill all of the asks!

That would be best, but not required. Most important is to please make sure you fulfill something for each and everyone of the kids listed in the letter. (Can you imagine if your sibling got something and you didn’t?)

Sure! We have elves that sometimes go over-the-top – but any amount is welcome.
