Greg McGovern

Greg has led strategy, management and fundraising initiatives for several nonprofit organizations, including: 3 Generations; Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater; American Red Cross; Brookings Institution; Child Mind Institute; Empire State Pride Agenda; The Flawless Foundation; Maria Fareri Children's Hospital; NYU Child Study Center at NYU Langone Medical Center; and Westchester Medical Center.

He also has an extensive background in nonprofit program development, implementation and evaluation. Greg has served as the Programming and Public Relations Officer for the Weatherhead East Asian Institute at Columbia University, Director of Education for the Chicago Humanities Festival and has lead school and community education outreach initiatives for the Chicago Shakespeare Theater.

Greg is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE). He holds a M.S. in Nonprofit and Fundraising Management from Columbia University and a B.F.A. from The Theatre School at DePaul University. He is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and serves on the Advisory Board of The Flawless Foundation, and is a board member and Treasurer of Miracle on 22nd Street.

Greg currently consults select nonprofit organizations, helping them to develop and execute effective fundraising, management, and operational strategies that propel their missions forward. He is based in Washington, DC and is accepting new clients nationwide.
